The Autumn Court

The Autumn Court stands strong in the Divided Kingdom with powerful and proud members. They are a dangerous lot, but increadibly tight knit. Touch one, and they will come down on you in a whirlwind of fear and magic, as is the rule of the Ashen Court.  The Stronghold of the Leaden Mirror is housed in the West of Louvain and is aptly called “The Institute of Fear and Magic”: a large castle sized manor is standing there on a hill, much like a place from horror movies, surrounded by woods of which the trees are permanently covered with leaves in burning colours of fall.
Creepy crawlies live in the woods, as well as birds of prey, wolves, foxes and other creatures. Snap Jack o' Lanterns grow in the Hollow next
doors, known as the Telltale Heart, and in the gardens behind the stronghold. They are kept in check by pumpkin men and other creatures of Autumnal dreams. It is a dangerous place, especially for those that come uninvited.

The Williams sisters

The sisters are of British nationality and have come to the Divided Kingdom in the guise of students at the KUL.  Kara has a degree from Oxford University in computer sciences and psychology and is now studying anthropology.  Hazel is currently studying to get her masters and after that, her PhD in Theology.  They are both obsessive in their reading and collecting of books, tomes and information and for their formidable memories.  Often have they been compared to walking encyclopedias and dictionaries.

They were taken when children exploring a so called “Haunted House” by Enki of the Moldy Tomes, and functioned as his librarians, occultists and knowledge gatherers.  Enki was not all cruel, however, and eventually released the sisters from their imprisonment.  They returned through the Hedge, only to find themselves replaced by docile fetches.  It was in fact Kara, and not Hazel, who brutally murdered these replacements, claiming back both her place and her sister’s in the world. 

They live in a small hollow on the grounds of the Autumn Court stronghold called the “Telltale Heart”.  Like in the story by Edgar Allen Poe, a constant heartbeat can be heard in the cottage, something which has enerved guests on more than one occasion.

Entitlement: Bischopric of the Blackbirds

The oldest of the Williams twins has Faith, a rare commodity amongst the Lost.  And thus it was only natural that while her sister became the living embodiment of Autumn, she joined the Bishopric of the Blackbirds.  Hazel is rarely seen amongst her fellow Lost, preferring solitary contemplation and wandering the Hedge in search for those in need.   It is said that she found her true calling to the Faith the night that her sister murdered their fetches before her eyes.

Kara IS Autumn, and thus everywhere she goes, Autumn is with her.  She is an eerie sort, followed by dead leaves twirling down all around her.  A thin layer of frost appears on everything she touches and she has been known to wield powers of fear as easily as turning her entire environment autumnal no matter what the season.  As an Antiquarian, knowledge and the occult is her trade, and Kara takes extensive measures to gain exactly that, even if it means breaking into places that are small fortresses.  Kara is mostly known for her studies on human nature, the nature of fear and as a hacker.

Mimenzo arrived back in the "normal" world for about 15 years ago. When he returned he didn't really know what he was but he knew what he had to do. The community of changelings was unknown to him until he met a certain individual named Kara. She introduced him in the changeling society and the autumn court where he remained. The history about mimenzo before he met Kara remains a mystery. It is insinuated that he's a freelance spy.
