Spats

Spats do not only keep your shoes clean (well most of your shoes anyway) they also make for fabulous accessories that look fantastic with just about every outfit!

Available in a wide range of heights, fabrics, colours and button opportunity, just let me know what you want, and it can quite probably be done :)

Some of the models here are showcases of my own spats (so you can see some of the possibilies), but some are for direct sale, it'll be mentioned in the explanation of each particular model.  As with almost everything else, custom orders are possible, just drop me a line if you want to order a pair :)

 This pair is part of my Mad for Tea mini-collection that I'm working on.   As you can see they have swirls and teacups all over them.  The buttons are a rich dark brown with gold edge.

These spats are made out of grey cotton with black pinstripes and victoriana flower print with black cotton lining and black plastic buttons.
They're so tall they easily fit over combat boots at 28cm/11 inches height.

A pair of these was sold via my etsy shop.

The fabric of these spats is a nice dark pink with very dark purple woven through it.
They close with brown wooden buttons with leather effect.

Red cotton spats with black plastic buttons.

A pair of these was sold via my etsy shop. 

These blue spats are standard lenght and made out of a pretty victoriana print blue cotton, with acquamarine cotton lining and black plastic buttons.

These spats are taller than the usual ones (usual lenght is that of the red ones) so they fit over combat boots.

They have been made out of a wool/cotton blend with flock roses print and have silvertone metal button closure.  The lining is black cotton.

You don't have to wear spats of that lenght over boots as tall as combats of course.

The spats in this picture are taller too, but as you can see they can be worn perfectly well with lower boots (they are being worn with ankle lenght boots in this picture).

They are made out of black parachute fabric (which is pretty much entirely water resistant, although not 100% waterproof) with black polycotton lining.  They close with silvertone metal buttons.

These are taller (the medium hight so to speak) made out of a fabulous pumpkin print cotton.  The lining is a lighter plain orange cotton and the buttons are brown leather effect ones.

These spats have an outer layer of rip-stop nylon with all-over Mickey Mouse head print.  The lining is black cotton backed satin and they close with round brass shank buttons.

This model is quite tall (longer than the normal lenght spats), as you see they fit over a combat boot, but they're not quite as tall as the extra long spats.

The spats shown in this goofy photo are made out of a really cute and cheerful Halloween fabric.  The lining is beige cotton, and they close with black plastic buttons.
